Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled minibus driver to join our team, predominantly to drive on school contracts. Contracts range from 16 to 30 hours term time only, with the option of overtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers efficiently and safely while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate minibuses. The driver will be expected to ensure that all passengers are taken on time and safely.
We can provide support every step of the way to obtain the necessary training and qualifications.
Duties
- Drive minibuses to transport passengers to designated locations
- Keep vehicles clean and tidy (there are facilities on site to help with this)
- Maintain accurate records of time, following drivers hours rules and regulations
- Conduct daily checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence (clean licence preferred but not essential)
- D1 category on your licence (preferred however support can be provided to obtain this)
- Must clear an enhanced DBS check
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude while interacting with customers
- Working hours: around the times of 07:00-10:00 and 14:00-17:00 term time only with the possibility of overtime.
