Job Summary
We are seeking a new member of staff to join our team at the Wellington Inn a friendly village pub.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Open up and close pub
- General pub duties, answering phone, taking bookings etc.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bar work or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Basic maths skills an advantage for handling transactions and managing tabs.
- Cellar experience preferred or willingness to learn how to change barrels etc.
Day, evening and weekend shifts, hours available minimum of 12 hours plus holiday cover when required.
