Due to ongoing growth for A Truscott Carpentry, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our team to provide administrative support and maintaining efficient office operations.
We provide carpentry services to commercial clients within the construction industry throughout Cornwall.
With secured growth already in 2026 and further growth on the horizon, we now require additional support within our team to maintain our level of excellent service for our valued clients.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in office tasks, possess strong organisational skills and have experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain electronic and paper records accurately- Support the team with administrative tasks as required
- Answering and directing telephone enquiries in a professional manner.
- Providing excellent customer care and responding to customer queries.
- Purchasing materials from suppliers.
- Inputting CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) data accurately.
- General administration duties, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and correspondence.
- Managing of our aftercare ledger and scheduling appointments for our operatives to complete
Requirements:-
- Previous experience in an administrative role and/or within the construction industry is advantageous
- Proficiency in using computerised systems for data entry and record keeping- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively- Strong attention to detail- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Salary: Dependant on experience and Hours/Days
Holiday Allowance: 28 including bank holidays
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, Full time and Part Time Considered
