Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Van Driver to join our growing team based in Widnes (WA8). The role involves collecting bags of used clothing from civic amenity sites, clothing banks, schools, and other designated collection points across Merseyside and the North West region.
The role requires availability to work 7 days a week, including weekends, on a rota basis. This is a 40-hour-per-week position, with opportunities for overtime when required. Please do not apply if you cannot accommodate this working schedule.
Previous van driving experience is essential. The role involves loading, unloading, carrying, weighing, and sorting bags of clothing, so applicants must be prepared for physical work and be comfortable with basic mathematics.
A company van will be provided for all collections.
Collections are primarily from civic amenity sites, clothing recycling banks, and schools. Applicants must be able to communicate professionally with members of the public and represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
Good personal skills and regular communication with head office via WhatsApp are essential.
