Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. This role involves providing essential assistance with daily activities, promoting well-being, and fostering independence within a variety of community settings. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and relevant caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence through tailored care plans and encouragement.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and errands, including shopping and transportation.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to supervising staff or healthcare professionals.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in domiciliary care, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively and handle challenging situations with sensitivity.
- Valid driving license and ability to drive clients safely when required.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility needs.

- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach to client interactions.
The position is based St Agnes and surrounding areas and we offer flexible morning and evening shifts and Weekends
