Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote early childhood development, creativity, and social skills
- Supervise and support children throughout their daily routines, including playtime, meals, rest periods, and learning sessions
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support children's well-being and progress
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices, management skills, and leadership qualities
- Observe and assess each child's development, keeping detailed records to inform future planning and parent updates
- Assist with daily administrative tasks related to nursery operations, ensuring smooth team coordination
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide both children and team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, health & safety standards, and early childhood development principles
- Valid childcare or nursery experience certification is preferred
- Ability to drive is a nice-to-have skill that can support flexible transportation needs for the role

Pay: £17.00-£21.00 per hour
