Role Description
This full-time Trainee Mortgage Broker role is an on-site position based in Gateshead. The successful candidate will assist licensed advisors in researching and preparing mortgage options, analysing client financial data, and supporting clients in their house purchase.
Responsibilities will also include liaising with clients, developing financial knowledge, making sure sites are kept updated, and ensuring high-quality customer service. Candidates will receive comprehensive training to advance their understanding of mortgage products and the financial services industry.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and strong numerical aptitude
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Effective organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Previous experience in finance, sales, or customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and digital tools
- A desire to learn, grow, and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Financial knowledge is desirable but not essential
