Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden and metal structures with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble bespoke wooden or metal components using hand tools and power tools
- Install joinery elements such as doors, windows, frameworks, and customised fixtures on-site or in workshops
- Read technical drawings and specifications accurately to ensure precise construction work
- Assist with roofing, masonry, plumbing, tasks as required for integrated project completion
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians, plumbers, and masons to complete projects efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery within the construction industry
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers alongside power tools like drills and sanders
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, masonry work, plumbing systems, and electrical principles is advantageous
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
- Familiarity with construction painting and finishing processes is desirable
- Previous experience working on diverse building projects will be considered an asset

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
