The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and providing expert clinical support across Lawmed’s surgical portfolio, with a primary focus on ‘Low Impact’ minimally invasive surgery and advanced abdominal wall reconstruction solutions. The portfolio includes AirSeal®, the world’s only intelligent and integrated insufflation system - regarded as the gold standard for robotic and minimally invasive urological, gynaecological, and general surgery. Dynamesh® and Fasciotens® represent ‘best in class’ abdominal wall reconstruction technologies. The wider portfolio encompasses stapling, advanced energy, diagnostics, and patient positioning solutions.
This role is suited to an experienced theatre-based sales professional who is commercially focused, self-motivated, and confident working independently within clinical environments. The Territory Manager provides regular in-theatre support, product expertise, training, and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre teams across NHS and private healthcare settings.
Working collaboratively with senior sales colleagues and internal stakeholders, the role plays a key part in expanding market presence, supporting the adoption of innovative medical technologies, and developing long-term customer partnerships that deliver improved clinical outcomes.
Sales & Territory Growth

Execute defined sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
- Achieve sales growth across the full product portfolio.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within NHS and private hospital settings.
- Develop and maintain effective territory planning and account segmentation strategies.
Clinical Support & Product Expertise

Develop a strong understanding of the product portfolio and be able to translate these to clinical applications which improve patient outcomes.
- Provide in-theatre support to surgeons and operating theatre teams during surgical procedures.
- Deliver product demonstrations, training, and education to clinicians and theatre staff.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management

Build strong consultative relationships with surgeons, theatre teams, procurement teams, and hospital administrators.
- Develop long-term partnerships that improve clinical outcomes by supporting product adoption.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and educate all stakeholders to support purchasing decisions within hospitals
Market Development

Monitor and analyse market dynamics and customer needs to identify how outcomes can be improved.
- Capture and share competitor intelligence to enhance commercial strategy.
- Attend relevant surgical meetings, workshops, and clinical education events.
Commercial & Operational Excellence

Maintain accurate reporting and utilise CRM/commercial tools effectively.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the operating theatre environment and clinical and non-clinical pathways.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of the medical device portfolio, relevant clinical procedures, and company systems.
- Participate in and support industry exhibitions, conferences, and sales meetings.
Candidate Experience & Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus, and a willingness to go the extra mile to support healthcare professionals and patients.
- Significant operating theatre experience (ideally within general surgery, gynaecology, or urology).
- Experience in medical device sales or clinical support within the operating theatre environment.
- An excellent understanding of the local NHS and private healthcare landscape.
- An understanding of human biology, physiology, and anatomy and commitment to continuing professional development.
- Strong data analysis and territory planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the allocated territory.
- A valid passport, with occasional national or international travel required.
