At n-compass, we know that behind every cared-for person is often someone quietly giving their time, energy and compassion every day. Our mission is to help people live happier, healthier and more connected lives, and we're looking for a passionate individual to join our Staffordshire Together for Carers Service and make a real difference to unpaid Carers across Staffordshire.
As a Carers Information & Support Officer, you'll be a trusted source of support, guidance and encouragement for unpaid Carers. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You could be meeting with a Carer in their local community, helping them develop a support plan, facilitating a support group, delivering Carer awareness sessions, or connecting people with services that can make life a little easier. As such, a full UK driving licence and vehicle to use for work is essential to travel around Staffordshire. You will also have regular team working with your colleagues and the flexibility to base from home.
Experience is advantageous but not essential as we have a fabulous learning and development offer to support your personal growth. More importantly, we are looking for people who share our commitment to improving the lives of others. In return for this, we can offer:
-
A Great Place to Work
-
Regular team-building and connectivity
-
Learning and development individual to you
-
High focus on your safety and well-being
-
Open and inclusive culture, where people matter most, always
-
A rewarding and satisfying role
Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Please send your application through as soon as possible, as applications will be shortlisted upon receipt, which may result in closing the vacancy sooner than the advertised closing date. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 5th August 2026.
