Duties
- Safely operate a commercial van to deliver packages and goods to designated addresses efficiently and on schedule
- Load and unload items, including heavy or bulky products, utilizing proper lifting techniques and warehouse experience
- Daily route must be completed
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete delivery documentation accurately
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding delivery times, delays, or issues to ensure a positive experience
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times
- Manage your schedule effectively to maximize daily delivery routes and meet customer expectationsExperience
- Previous delivery driver experience preferred, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse work or heavy lifting is advantageous for handling deliveries efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning software is beneficial
