Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for the delivery of goods to various locations, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and organize inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored securely and accurately labeled
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee safe driving conditions
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of products, following proper safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements using designated tracking systems
- Support warehouse activities such as stock replenishment, order picking, and packaging as needed
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role with a focus on commercial driving
- Valid driver’s license with <PERSON> driver certification or equivalent; experience driving heavy vehicles preferred
- Prior warehouse experience demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and heavy lifting tasks
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and clients
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance routines
