Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves supporting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and eating
- Support residents with mobility and physical activities
- Help in the implementation of individual care plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports on residents' health and progress
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Provide emotional support to residents and promote their independence
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a care environment is desirable
- Understanding of care plans and their implementation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A genuine interest in providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals
