South Tyneside Council is looking for passionate and highly motivated individuals who are committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Our statutory SEND Assessment & Review Team plays a critical role in ensuring that children and young people with SEND receive appropriate support and services to meet their unique learning needs so that they can learn grow and achieve.
As a SEND Review Coordinator, you will ensure that children and young people with SEND meet positive outcomes and are prepared for adulthood.
You will provide effective and efficient administration for the SEND Assessment & Review Service, overseeing the annual review process to ensure high quality and timely delivery of amended and finalised EHC Plans.
You should have experience and knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and effective use of Microsoft Office and specialist ICT packages.
