Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced FOH (Front of House) Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient team management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Oversee bar and food preparation and serving processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table utilisation to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and health & safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with training new team members in service procedures, food safety standards, and customer service excellence.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.
- Monitor service standards and implement improvements to enhance overall guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Maintain organised work schedules for staff, ensuring adequate coverage during shifts.
- Uphold the organisation’s reputation by promoting hospitality excellence in every interaction.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in bar, food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations relevant to hospitality environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
