Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the workspace.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as needed.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using basic maths skills.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers and handling food preparation is desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members.
