Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and the practice, ensuring smooth communication, scheduling, and administrative support. Duties
- Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and follow-up.
- Explain treatment plans clearly to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Assist with insurance processing and financial arrangements related to treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients via phone, email, and in person to provide updates and support.
- Organise and manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Support the team with IT-related tasks to ensure smooth operation of practice management systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment for all patients.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role within a medical or dental setting is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
- Organised with outstanding time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a professional environment.
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software systems quickly.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in handling insurance claims or financial arrangements is desirable.
