Bingham Centre is recruiting Full-time Day Care Assistants for its day service in Frenchay, near Bristol. Our day service provides a varied timetable of activities for adults with learning difficulties, both in-house and out-and-about in the community.
We are looking for a resourceful, ideas person, who is fun, outgoing and confident to work in a team and 1:1 with a client out in the community. This could be horse riding, swimming, bowling, cinema, etc. In house, you could be baking, singing, doing arts and crafts and celebrating seasonal events we take part in.
You will need to be passionate about making a difference in the lives of our service users, a good communicator and have good written skills.
You must be a car driver with a full UK driving license, to support client access to the community. You would be required to use your own car for which you would receive a mileage allowance.
UK Visa Sponsorship NOT available with this job. You must already be eligible to live and work in the UK to be considered for this job.
We prefer to employ people who have had previous experience and if you have a relevant NVQ2/QCF/RQF qualification you would receive a pay enhancement.

Bingham Centre's normal opening times are from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm.
