Powys Teaching Health Board is seeking to recruit two motivated and compassionate Senior Mental Health Practitioners (Band 6) to join our Local Primary Mental Health Support Service (LPMHSS).
LPMHSS in Powys provides timely assessment and intervention for individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, alongside support for those with stable severe mental health needs.
These roles offer flexibility to be based in Newtown, Llandrindod Wells, or Brecon/Bronllys, supporting communities across Powys.
As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering the core functions of LPMHSS, supporting individuals through assessment, brief intervention, and onward referral where appropriate. You will deliver care using a range of modalities including face-to-face, telephone, and digital/online approaches.
You will be joining a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. We offer opportunities for professional development, involvement in service improvement, and flexible working arrangements across Powys.
If you are passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a forward-thinking and supportive service, we would welcome your application.
