We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrator to become a valued member of our growing team. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and providing essential administrative support. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Process accounts payable, ensuring supplier invoices are handled accurately and payments are made on time.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor account balances, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Prepare and issue invoices, track expenses, and assist with billing activities.
- Support payroll administration where required.
- Produce financial reports and summaries to support informed business decisions.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including filing, data entry, scheduling, and managing correspondence.
- Work closely with colleagues to improve processes, maintain compliance, and support the efficient running of the business.
What We're Looking For
- Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- A solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence learning new systems and adapting to changing business needs.
- Previous bookkeeping or administrative experience is desirable, but we're equally interested in candidates with the right attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
