Who We Are
At Outreach, we’ve been supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or long-term mental health needs to live independent, fulfilling lives since 1978. What began as a parent-led organisation within the Jewish community has grown into an inclusive charity that welcomes and supports people from all backgrounds, faiths and beliefs.
We provide high-quality, person-centred support across a range of services, including residential care, supported living, autism-specific support, and specialist services for people with complex needs, challenging behaviours, and physical or sensory disabilities. Working closely with families, carers and partner organisations, we deliver coordinated support that empowers people to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
There is a high level of active service user participation with regular forums and activities for service users with learning disabilities.
Today, we support people across Prestwich, Whitefield and Bury, with a strong commitment to inclusion, independence and active participation in shaping the services we provide.
