Golden Events are currently recruiting for an Event Sales Assistant to join their established events team.
Job Description:
- The role will involve liaising with new & existing clients with regards to corporate & private events, conference & banqueting.
- You will convert leads into bookings - maximising revenue & profitability from opportunities around events.
- Ensure that event details are accurately recorded - including dates, times, customer requirements, contact details and financial details.
- Ensure that plans are effectively communicated both internally & externally, working closely with the wider events team.
- Encouraging repeat business with existing clients.
- Produce written quotations and contracts.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have some experience in sales and ideally have an understanding of the Event industry.
- As a client facing role it is essential that you have a confident telephone manner, an outward personality and an understanding of the importance of building strong client relationships,
- A willingness to travel and a commercially driven attitude towards achieving new client wins.
- Driving licence – desirable.
- Must be flexible with days and hours of working.
