Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English & Math Tutor to inspire students aged 5-16 and foster a love for learning. Duties
- Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in English and Math, tailored to each student’s needs and learning style
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual learning objectives
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
- Create a positive, motivating learning environment that encourages active participation and curiosity
- Support students with homework, test preparation, and skill-building exercises to reinforce understanding
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about student progress and areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and lesson plans
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Math at various educational levels
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate students
- Experience working with children or young learners, including those with special education needs
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Knowledge of curriculum standards and effective instructional techniques in both subjects
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons and track student progress effectively
Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
