At Newpark Childcare, we're not a corporate nursery chain. We're a family-run nursery with a genuine Montessori ethos, and we've been creating exceptional early years experiences for London families for over 30 years.
We believe children thrive when they're surrounded by caring, passionate adults who love what they do. That's why we invest just as much in our team as we do in the children we care for.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just want a nursery job—they want to make a real difference. Someone who is naturally curious about child development, passionate about early years education, and excited to help children learn through exploration, independence and play.
We're proud to be a down-to-earth, people-first nursery. We know everyone's name, we celebrate successes together, and we support one another through the busy days. When you join Newpark, you become part of a team that genuinely cares.
As the UK's first private nursery accredited by the London Living Wage, we believe the people shaping children's futures deserve to be valued and fairly rewarded.
Hours: Full Time | 4 days per week | 10-hour shifts | All year round

Qualifications are important, but attitude matters just as much.
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about childcare and early years education
Warm, patient and naturally nurturing
Curious about how children learn and develop
Positive, reliable and eager to be part of a close-knit team
Someone who enjoys working with families as well as children
You'll also need:
A relevant Early Years qualification (preferred)
Experience working with children under five (essential)
Fluent English
Excellent communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding children
A willingness to complete a DBS check and provide references
We know that looking after young children is rewarding, but it can also be demanding. That's why we've built a workplace where our team feels valued, supported and appreciated.
You'll benefit from:
Competitive hourly pay
Healthcare Cash Plan
Free virtual GP
Wellbeing support through the mProve YOURSELF app
Excellent opportunities for career progression
Up to four extra days' annual leave for outstanding attendance

Season Ticket Loan
Flexible working opportunities
Workplace pension
Cycle to Work and Tech schemes
Workplace Nursery Scheme
Interest-free Childcare Deposit Loan
10% childcare discount (subject to availability)
Paid lunch breaks
Regular staff celebrations and social events
Most importantly, you'll be joining a nursery where you're treated as a person, not a number.
Many of our team have been with us for years because Newpark is somewhere people enjoy coming to work. We believe in developing our staff, celebrating achievements and creating an environment where everyone can grow.
If you're passionate about giving children the very best start in life and want to work in a family-run London nursery where people genuinely care, we'd love to hear from you.
Newpark Childcare is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS and reference checks. We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
