Pink Tile Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nurture Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in New Addington from September.
This rewarding opportunity involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to build confidence, develop independence, and access learning within a supportive and nurturing educational environment.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support throughout the school day
- Assisting pupils to engage with learning activities and classroom routines
- Supporting communication, social interaction, and emotional wellbeing
- Encouraging independence and celebrating individual achievements
- Working closely with teachers and therapists to meet pupils' individual needs
- Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs within education, care, or support settings
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or complex learning needs would be advantageous but is not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
