Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our growing workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, routine maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs to a high standard while ensuring excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
- Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, clutch, and engine components.
- Diagnose vehicle faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
- Complete maintenance and repair work efficiently while meeting quality standards.
- Ensure all work is accurately documented on job cards and workshop systems.
- Carry out vehicle health checks and report findings to the Workshop Controller.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Use workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
- Support colleagues and contribute to an efficient workshop operation.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience carrying out vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs.
- Strong knowledge of brakes, suspension, steering, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently.
- Good understanding of modern vehicle systems and repair techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
