Duties
- Deliver professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and grooming treatments in accordance with client preferences and industry standards
- Provide personalised consultations to clients to understand their desired look and offer expert advice on styles and maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Build strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
- Uphold the organisation’s reputation for excellence through professional conduct and appearance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating technical skill and creativity
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong customer service orientation, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including modern cuts, traditional styles, and grooming treatments
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to personal grooming services
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings or weekends if required
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in barbering or hair styling are desirable but not essential for highly experienced candidates
