We’re recruiting for an established manufacturing business that is looking to add an experienced Quality Technician to its team. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in inspection, customer quality, problem solving and continuous improvement, with plenty of scope to make a genuine impact.
What’s in it for you?

- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
- Early finish every Friday
- Company-wide Christmas shutdown
- Additional holidays for long service
- Company sick pay
- Death in service benefit
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Referral bonus scheme
- On-site canteen
- Free on-site mortgage advice
- Opportunities for internal progression
- Plus the company’s Christmas tradition — a turkey to take home for Christmas dinner!
What will you be doing?
You’ll work closely with production, engineering and customers to ensure products meet the required quality standards.
Day to day, this will include:
- Inspecting manufactured components and finished products
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out dimensional checks using inspection equipment
- Using CMM, Hex Arm and/or Faro Arm
- Completing PPAP, PPEP and ISIR documentation
- Supporting ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9102 requirements
- Investigating quality issues and identifying root causes
- Using tools such as 5 Why and Ishikawa
- Maintaining quality records, control plans and inspection documentation
- Working with production teams to reduce defects, waste and repeat issues
- Supporting continuous improvement projects
- Communicating with customers regarding quality requirements
What are we looking for?
We’d like to speak to Quality Technicians, Quality Inspectors or Quality Engineers who have worked within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

- Experience with dimensional inspection
- Experience using CMM, Hex Arm or Faro Arm
- Knowledge of ISO 9001

Knowledge of AS9100 or AS9102 would be beneficial, but don’t let that stop you applying if the rest of your experience is a good fit.
