Overview
We are looking for a reliable Groundworker/site supervisor responsible for overseeing groundworks and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard, experienced in leading site teams, coordinating daily activities and working alongside contractors, plant operators and other trades
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate groundworks and site operatives on a daily basis
- Carry out general groundworks, excavation drainage, concreting, kerbing and paving
- Read and work from drawing, specifications and site plans
- Set out work areas and ensure works are completed accurately.
- Operate and work safely around plant and machinery
- Organise labour, materials tools and equipment to maintain productivity
- Monitor the quality and progress of work
- Carry out daily site checks and ensure health and safety procedures are being followed
- Brief workers on RAMS, site rules and safe systems of work
- Identify the report hazards, defects ad potential issues
- Laise with site managers subcontractors and other trades
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised and safe
- Assist with problem solving and resolving issues on site
- Complete daily records site paperwork and progress updates where required
- Ensure works are completed on time and to the required standard

Requirements
- Experience in groundworks and excavation
- Effective communication and teamwork skills at all levels with the ability to work under pressure.
- Drainage and concrete works

- RAMS and toolbox talk
- Strong communication
- 360 Excavator certificates
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
