We are seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused People & Operations Associate to support the delivery of business & people operations, recruitment, and resourcing and business operations activities across the company.
This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, maintaining accurate people data and HR systems, producing workforce reports, coordinating employee wellbeing initiatives, and providing administrative support across the wider business.
Alongside people operations responsibilities, the role supports Health & Safety activities, employee events, travel coordination and general business administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career within People Operations and HR whilst studying towards a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
People Operations Administration
- Support onboarding, probation and employee lifecycle processes.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
- Produce employee correspondence including probation letters, contract amendments, salary review letters and other people-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems.
- Ensure employee data is maintained accurately and in line with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Coordinate new starter and leaver administration activities.
- Track completion of onboarding activities and mandatory documentation.
- Maintain personnel files and supporting employment records.
- Support employee benefits and learning administration activities where required.
- Assist with HR compliance and audit requirements.
Recruitment & Resourcing Administration
- Coordinate recruitment activities across permanent, contract and contingent hiring.
- Arrange interviews and manage candidate communications.
- Work with hiring managers, agencies and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Administer applicant tracking and recruitment systems.
- Prepare recruitment reports and hiring updates.
- Coordinate background screening, right-to-work checks and onboarding activities.
- Maintain recruitment records and recruitment metrics.
- Support workforce planning and resourcing administration activities.
- Assist with contractor onboarding, extensions and offboarding administration.
HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain HR system records and ensure data integrity.
- Produce regular HR and workforce reports.
- Support reporting relating to headcount, recruitment activity, onboarding, turnover and employee data.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting requests from People Operations and senior stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
- Ensure all people-related documentation is appropriately stored and managed.
Health, Safety & Wellbeing
- Participate as an active member of the Health & Safety Committee.
- Support the coordination of Health & Safety activities and initiatives.
- Support wellbeing campaigns and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Develop ideas and recommendations to enhance employee wellbeing and engagement.
- Assist with employee communications relating to wellbeing, health and workplace awareness activities.
Events & Employee Engagement
- Coordinate company meetings, social events and engagement activities.
- Support planning and delivery of internal events and team-building activities.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and communications.
- Coordinate logistics and administration relating to company events.
Travel & Business Operations Administration
- Arrange business travel, accommodation and itineraries for employees and leadership teams as required.
- Maintain travel records and support compliance with company travel policies.
- Coordinate travel supplier relationships and booking processes.
- Provide general administrative support across the business.
- Assist with meeting coordination, document preparation and business administration activities.

Development Opportunity
Commitment to complete the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice during the fixed-term contract period.
This is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave, with the full duration of the 16-month apprenticeship.
