School Contract Driver- Term Time Only.
Split Shift, Wednesday to Friday 06:45-09:15 and 14:30-16:45 (4.75 hours per day/14.25 per week)
*Please note this role will start in September 2026*
Main Duties
The School Contract post will involve taking children and young people to a specialist school in the morning and returning them in the afternoon. There is also a Passenger Assistant that sits with the children/young people.
For this post, a friendly, responsible person is required. Knowledge of South Glos is desirable. You would be working for a not for profit organisation that helps their local community, we have been operating for over 30 years helping some of the most vulnerable in our community. Driving a specially adapted accessible minibus, and operating the tail lift as necessary.
Assisting passengers on and off vehicle, with their safety and comfort being the paramount consideration. Securing wheelchairs and scooters in the minibus as necessary.
Following the necessary procedures, such as vehicle checks, health and safety, safeguarding, equal opportunities etc.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must have PSV licence or D1 101 Licence entitlement
Further training will be provided by GCT.
