JB Tool & Plant Hire requires an experienced HGV C (Class2 Cat C) Driver to run from our Loughborough Branch
You should have previous experience in the safe loading, unloading, and securing of construction plant equipment.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain your vehicle to a high standard and carry out daily maintenance inspections in accordance with our Company procedures.
A valid UK driving license with categories C (CLASS 2) is essential for anyone applying for this role. Main Veichle will be 16 ton Beavertail vehicles .
Along with a passion for customer service; you will need to have:
- Driving license category C
- CPC
- Digital Tacho Card
- Ability to lift and handle heavy goods
Job Specification, responsibilities, and functions
To deliver Plant, tools, and equipment
Proficient in the safe loading and unloading of your vehicle
Carry out daily walk-around inspections
Assist the depot prepare loads, tools and plant for delivery
Operate a mix of small Plant and tools to enable the safe delivery
Deal with customers
Complete and record accurately associated paperwork and delivery notes
Take photos of damages and issues with machines on site
You should be versatile and able to adapt to change.
You should be a professional Driver with good customer-facing skills.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and time management skills and be able to work with minimal supervision but also as part of a team.
Monday - Friday 7.30am-5pm
Every Other Sat 7.30am- 12pm
Overtime at time and 1 half
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £675.00-£700.00 per week
