Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join the team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Work with kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation excellence
- Follow food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of meals
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control effectively
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Assist in menu planning and development to meet customer preferences and seasonal trends
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Knowledge of food production processes and restaurant operations
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential if accompanied by substantial experience in the industry
