About the role
We’re seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. You will play a key role in creating and delivering exceptional pastries, desserts, breads, and sweet treats that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment while working collaboratively with the wider culinary team.
What you will do
- Prepare, bake, and present a wide range of high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and other baked goods
- Ensure all products are prepared and presented to agreed recipes and standards
- Assist in the development of new pastry and dessert offerings, contributing creative ideas to menus and seasonal promotions
- Manage and organise your designated section to ensure smooth daily operations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock control procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and organisation within the pastry kitchen
- Support the training and development of junior team members where required
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company standards at all times
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar pastry kitchen role
- Professional cookery qualification or equivalent experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert preparation
- Passion for creating exceptional products with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues as part of a team
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: £36,500.00-£40,500.00 per year
