About The Clean HQ
The Clean HQ is a professional domestic cleaning agency connecting clients with carefully selected self-employed cleaners across London and Hertfordshire.
As demand for our Deep Cleaning service grows, we're looking to build a specialist network of experienced Deep Clean cleaners who take pride in detailed, thorough work.
This is not simply a regular domestic cleaning role. We're looking for cleaners who are confident handling more intensive cleaning projects and understand the level of detail expected from a professional Deep Clean.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out detailed Deep Cleans in private residential properties.
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas to a high standard.
- Tackling built-up dirt, dust, grease and limescale.
- Cleaning commonly overlooked areas such as skirting boards, doors, frames, switches and accessible edges.
- Following The Clean HQ Deep Clean checklist and agreed scope.
- Completing additional cleaning tasks where specifically agreed.
- Working independently while maintaining professional communication with The Clean HQ.
- Reporting any issues, damage or changes in scope before proceeding with work outside the agreed booking.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience carrying out Deep Cleans.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Professional and respectful in clients' homes.
- Comfortable working on longer, more intensive cleaning assignments.
- Able to follow a detailed cleaning checklist.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel within your agreed service area.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Two references from previous clients or employers.
- DBS checked or willing to obtain one.
Equipment
Deep Clean Specialists should ideally have their own professional cleaning equipment, including:
- Reliable vacuum cleaner.
- Mop and bucket.
- Basic cleaning tools.
- Microfibre cloths.
- Brushes/scrubbers.
- Suitable cleaning equipment for intensive domestic cleaning.
The Clean HQ may provide or arrange specialist products/equipment for certain bookings as our service develops.
What We Offer
- £18.50–£22.50 per hour, depending on experience and job requirements.
- Higher rates may be available for particularly complex or specialist assignments.

Important Information
This is a self-employed opportunity. You are not employed by The Clean HQ and are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance and other obligations arising from your self-employed status.
You can accept or decline individual bookings based on your availability and suitability for the work.
Deep Clean bookings will be matched based on experience, location, availability, transport, equipment and the requirements of each property.
