Fife Coast and Countryside Trust (FCCT) are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic and effective Conservation and Engagement team.
Location: The Pitcairn Centre, Moidart Drive, Glenrothes, KY7 6ET
Salary: £26,786.83 to £29,170.80
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

About the role:
To carry out maintenance tasks on the Fife Coastal Path, Fife Pilgrim Way and other paths within the service remit and a range of maintenance work in the Lomond Hills Regional Park and other sites as instructed.
About you:
We are looking for an adaptable and motivated individual to join our team. You will bring with you the following skills and experience:
- At least 12 months experience of working in a general garden maintenance role.
- Experience in the use of gardening tools and small hand tools.
- Literate and numerate.
- Working knowledge of safe working practices.
- Able to develop and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people.
- Able to work as part of a team and take instruction.
- Willingness to use and act upon own initiative.
- Adaptable and motivated team worker.
- Enthusiasm for the role and flexibility to meet changing needs.
- Able to carry out work of a repetitive nature.
- A solid understanding of the Trust and knowledge of Fife’s countryside
- Driving Licence
- Flexible mindset.
