Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, or other menu items.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately and handling payments using the till system.
- Manage stock levels, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean and organised throughout your shift.
- Ensure the café environment remains welcoming, tidy, and inviting for all visitors.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness is desirable.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
