Duties
- Prepare and bake a diverse range of bread, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all baked items meet quality, presentation, and freshness requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor baking processes to ensure consistency in texture, flavor, and appearance
- Assist with ingredient inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures diligently
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts within a bakery or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and other baking tools
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Culinary experience that demonstrates creativity and technical skill in baking
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment
