Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Multi Drop Van Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a multi-drop van to deliver parcels and goods to various customer locations within designated routes
- Load and unload items with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring all deliveries are accurate and damage-free
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during daily operations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of completed deliveries and any issues encountered during routes
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure the van is in optimal condition
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading processes and inventory management
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices prefered
- Valid driver’s license suitable for operating a <PERSON> driver vehicle or similar commercial van
- Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy lifting tasks is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
- Prior experience in heavy lifting or physically demanding roles is advantageous but not mandatory
