About the Jubilee Swim Academy
The Jubilee Swim Academy is a swim school dedicated to providing high-quality group swimming lessons for children from ages 4 – 15, and adults from beginner level to advanced level. In addition, we have some private lesson availability. We are situated on the Highfield campus of the University of Southampton.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced swimming professional to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured swimming lessons and tracking and assessing the progress of your students.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment at all times.
- Committing to set shifts each school term, with clear advance scheduling.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience as a swimming teacher- at least 1 year preferable
- STA Award, Certificate or Swim England level 2 teaching qualification.
Additional Information:
- Full enhanced DBS checks will be carried out on all successful candidates.
- We also run holiday crash courses during school holidays
- Term-based working structure with flexible planning for shifts each term.
Pay: £19.19-£20.26 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Southampton SO17 1BJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
