Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and committed Production Manager to join our rapidly growing stone workshop in Hayes. This is a stable, full-time position for an individual with proven production management experience and practical knowledge of CNC machinery used in stone processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and coordinate the work of the production department.
- Plan production schedules and oversee the timely completion of orders.
- Manage the production team and monitor workforce performance.
- Supervise the correct operation and routine maintenance of CNC machines and stone saws.
- Work from technical drawings and production plans.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure a high level of workmanship.
- Implement process improvements and optimise workshop operations.
- Liaise with the design, installation, and management teams.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Resolve day-to-day technical and operational issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar supervisory/management role.
- Practical knowledge of CNC machinery and manufacturing processes within the stone industry or a related sector.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in managing and leading production teams.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, responsibility, and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
- Good command of the English language.
