Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional Lettings Consultant to join our team on a commission-only basis. This role involves engaging with prospective tenants and property owners to facilitate lettings, providing exceptional customer service, and expanding our rental portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a proactive attitude towards sales and client management. This position offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to earn through commissions based on successful lettings.
Duties
- Engage with prospective tenants and property owners to generate lettings opportunities
- Conduct property viewings and provide detailed information about available properties
- Assist clients with the rental process, including application procedures and documentation
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Manage administrative tasks related to lettings, such as updating records and processing paperwork
- Promote properties through various channels, including social media and local advertising
- Follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Collaborate with the team to meet monthly targets for new lettings
Experience
- Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and appointments efficiently
- Experience in sales or customer service roles is desirable but not mandatory
- A proactive approach with excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with diverse clients
