Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Beauty Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty and skincare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with clients, promoting products, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Fluency in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, is highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for merchandising and social media management to enhance our brand presence both in-store and online.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalised beauty consultations tailored to individual needs
- Promote and upsell products effectively, ensuring customers are informed about the latest offerings and promotions
- Manage social media accounts by creating engaging content and responding to customer interactions to boost brand visibility
- Maintain organised product displays and ensure the shop floor is neat, attractive, and well-stocked
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling enquiries or booking appointments
- Assist with stock management, including inventory checks and merchandising activities
- Keep up-to-date with beauty trends, product knowledge, and industry developments to provide expert advice
- Support team members in achieving sales targets through effective communication and organisational skills
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Beauty Consultant or similar role within the beauty or skincare industry
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with an ability to connect with diverse clients
- Excellent organisational skills and time management capabilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
- Experience with social media management tools and content creation
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to optimise product presentation
- Ability to demonstrate phone etiquette professionalism at all times
- Skills in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
