About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Supported Living and Community Outreach services in Nottingham.
At Fosse Support Services, we provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, complex care needs and behaviours that may challenge.
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the quality, safety and day-to-day performance of your services, providing strong leadership to your teams and ensuring people receive safe, effective and personalised support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of high-quality, person-centred services.
- Manage, support and develop Support Workers and Senior Support Workers.
- Maintain high standards of CQC readiness, compliance and quality.
- Oversee support plans, risk assessments, audits and quality assurance.
- Conduct supervisions, team meetings, competency checks and performance management.
- Promote independence, choice, dignity and positive outcomes.
- Ensure Positive Behaviour Support strategies are understood and followed where applicable.
- Manage incidents, safeguarding concerns, complaints and reporting requirements.
- Identify learning from incidents, audits and feedback and ensure improvements are embedded.
- Monitor staffing levels, training and staff compliance.
- Build strong relationships with families, commissioners and health and social care professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor service performance.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and compassionate leader with experience in health and social care who is passionate about developing strong teams and delivering excellent support.
You will ideally have:
- Management or senior experience within Supported Living, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health or Complex Care.
- Good knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred support.
- An understanding of CQC requirements and quality standards.
- Experience supervising and developing staff.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or willingness to work towards one, would be advantageous.
