We are recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our Milsoms Kesgrave Hall Hotel team in as Senior Housekeeper.
Kesgrave Hall is a welcoming, independently run family hotel with 27 beautifully appointed bedrooms and a range of inviting common areas. We take pride in offering exceptional comfort, cleanliness, and service to every guest.
This is a permanent position, working 4 days per week (7:30/9am–3/4pm).
Hourly rate: £13.50 plus a share of tips.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards.
- Organise and oversee the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring efficiency and attention to detail.
- Train, supervise, and support housekeeping staff in daily operations.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen.
- Work closely with the House Manager to ensure smooth communication across departments.
- Support with rota management & ordering
- Uphold and promote health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Be flexible to meet the changing needs of the business, including weekend work.
About You
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and cleaning knowledge.
- Understand the pace and efficiency required to service hotel rooms to a high standard.
- A positive team leader who works well with others.
- Professional communication skills and a hands-on approach.
- Reliable, flexible, and passionate about delivering a great guest experience.
- Available to work weekends
