Purpose of the Role
As a Customer Services Representative within the Car Park team, you will deliver exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of communication with customers, retailers, contractors, and colleagues. Acting as an ambassador for World Class Service at Victoria Centre, you will create a welcoming, safe, and positive experience for all visitors while ensuring customer enquiries and issues are resolved professionally and efficiently.
As a Car Park Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the car park, ensuring a clean, safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for all users. You will provide assistance and guidance to customers, respond promptly to operational issues, monitor the condition and functionality of equipment, and support the smooth running of car park operations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, creating a positive experience for customers, retailers, and visitors.
Communicate professionally, courteously, and effectively with members of the public, retailers, contractors, and colleagues.
Provide accurate information, assistance, and directions to customers, demonstrating a strong knowledge of Victoria Centre's facilities and services.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the car parks.
Monitor the condition of car park facilities and equipment, reporting faults and defects in accordance with site procedures.
Assist with the sale and administration of parking tickets, permits, and related services.
Carry out cleaning, basic maintenance, and inspection duties to ensure the car park remains safe, clean, and well-presented.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports in line with company and site requirements.
Support site security initiatives and work with relevant departments to help reduce crime and anti-social behaviour within the car parks.
Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns, following established procedures and escalating where necessary.
Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, systems, and the overall customer experience.
Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by site management.
Comply with all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Take reasonable care for your own health and safety, and that of colleagues, customers, contractors, and visitors.
Report hazards, incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly and in accordance with company procedures.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant working environment at all times.

Essential:

Desirable:
Previous experience working with a car park management system but not essential (training will be provided)
Working Hours - 40 hrs Monday-Sunday fully flex 5 out of 7 days per week
Salary - £12.71/hr
