About Novakid
Founded in San Francisco in 2017, Novakid is one of the world's leading online English platforms for children aged 4–12. We've delivered over 14 million lessons to kids across 50+ countries, and everything we build — from our gamified curriculum to our animated characters and interactive stories — is designed to make learning feel like play. As we grow our content library, we're looking for a creative AI Video Creator/Editor to help bring that world to life.
What the role involves
- Creating and editing AI-generated videos from ready-made briefs, scripts, and creative concepts — think microfictions, mini documentaries, and short animated sketches for children
- Managing the full production cycle from initial visual generation and voiceover through to polished final delivery
- Working confidently across AI content-generation and voice tools — Seedance, ElevenLabs, and similar platforms
- Producing animated content that feels genuinely engaging and appropriate for a young audience
- Working with music and sound design to match the tone of children's content
- Following scripts, creative briefs, brand guidelines, and references closely
- Delivering on tight turnarounds while staying open and responsive to feedback — iterations are part of the process here, not an afterthought
What we're looking for
- Solid hands-on experience with AI video and voice generation tools
- Editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar
- A genuine interest in children's animation and comfort working with narrative-driven content
- Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes feedback constructively
- Working proficiency in English
Working with us
This is a fully remote freelance role with a team spread across the globe. This role operates on European time zones (CET/EET). You'll get interesting, varied creative tasks and the satisfaction of making content that kids actually watch and enjoy. We pay reliably and on time, and we treat the people we work with as professionals.
Compensation
Pay is competitive, per completed video, with the rate agreed in advance for each assignment based on length and complexity.
