Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Scaffolder with HGV Licence to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures that ensure the safety and efficiency of various building projects. Responsibilities
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety standards and project specifications
- Inspect scaffolding regularly to ensure stability, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, electricians, and welders to facilitate smooth workflow
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently
- Follow detailed plans and blueprints to construct scaffolding tailored to project needs
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing materials and disposing of debris responsibly
- Conduct safety checks and report any hazards or issues immediately to supervisors
- Driving HGV vehicles to and from sites.
Skills
- Proven experience in scaffolding installation and dismantling in construction environments
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and fabrication techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, levels, and measuring tapes
- Proficient with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and lifts
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and safety instructions accurately
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills for teamwork and safety coordination
- HGV Licence
