Working Hours: 39 hours per week on average(Some flexibility available)
Week 1: Tuesday to Friday 09.00 - 18.00
Week 2: Tuesday to Friday 09.00 18-00 and Saturday 09.00 - 15.00
We are looking for a dedicated and patient-focused IP Pharmacist/Manager to join our team.
Bonnyrigg Healthcare Pharmacy is seeking a IP Pharmacist Manager to join our team in the Bonnyrigg area . Bonnyrigg Healthcare are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. If you are passionate about improving the well being of individuals in the community and eager to support and develop the wider pharmacy team this may be the role for you.
This branch is well staffed with an experienced team including two ACT's and six Healthcare assistants providing an excellent service to the local community. Currently dispensing around 6,000 items per month, this is a steady branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our VBM automation system. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.
Our Branches use Pharmacy Manager to dispense Prescriptions.

The Role
As our Independent Prescribing Pharmacist Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the Pharmacy, while using your clinical expertise and prescribing skills to provide and excellent service to our patients.
Your resonsibilites will include:
- Providing clinically excellent pharmaceutical care to our patients
- Using your Independent Prescriber qualification to assess, diagnose and prescribe appropraitely within your scope of practice.
- Managing and supporting the pharmacy team
- Ensuring the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy
- Supporting the delivery and development of NHS and private pharmacy services.
- Mainaining high standards of patient care, governance and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimise patient care.
- Support staff development
- Ensure the pharmacy meets all relevant GPHC and local requirements.
About you
- A GPhc registered Pharmacist
- A qualified Independent Prescriber
- Experienced within community pharmacy
- Confident in clinical decision-making and patient consultations
- An effective leader with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care
Pay: £63,350.00-£70,000.00 per year
