You'll be supporting people across Ramsey, Warboys, Bury and surrounding villages.

Your Role
As a Care & Support Worker, you'll help people live independently in their own homes while promoting dignity, choice and wellbeing.
Every service user is unique, meaning no two days are ever the same.
Your responsibilities may include:
Personal Care
- Assisting with washing, bathing and showering
- Helping with dressing and grooming
- Toileting and continence support
- Oral hygiene
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Promoting independence wherever possible
Medication Support
- Prompting and administering medication (following training)
- Recording medication accurately
- Monitoring for concerns and reporting changes
Domestic Support
- Cleaning and tidying the home
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bedding
- Washing dishes
- Keeping the home safe and comfortable
Nutrition & Hydration
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Supporting with eating and drinking
- Following dietary requirements and care plans
- Encouraging good nutrition and hydration
- Shopping for food and essential household items during allocated shopping visits
Social & Emotional Support
- Providing companionship
- Spending quality time chatting and listening
- Supporting hobbies and interests
- Accompanying service users on outings
- Supporting attendance at appointments
- Helping reduce loneliness and social isolation
- Encouraging confidence and independence
Health & Wellbeing
- Monitoring health and wellbeing
- Reporting concerns promptly
- Working alongside families and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Delivering safe, person-centred care at every visit

What We're Looking For
Above all else, we're looking for people with the right values.
Kindness, patience, compassion and reliability are far more important than previous experience.
You will need:
✔ Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
✔ Access to your own vehicle for work (preferred but not essential)
✔ A caring and compassionate nature
✔ Good communication skills
✔ Reliability and professionalism
✔ Flexibility to work mornings, evenings and alternate weekends
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Applicants should also be comfortable working in homes where pets may be present.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience is desirable but not essential.
We welcome applicants who have:
- Previous care experience
- Care Certificate
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
Don't worry if you don't have these—we provide full paid training and ongoing support.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time community-based position.
Applicants must be flexible and able to work:
- Morning shifts 0700-1400
- Evening shifts 1400-2200 or 1700 - 2200
- Alternate weekends or 1 day each weekend
- Bank Holidays
